Next Steps: Making an Album
Getting Ready
Your wedding celebration is behind you, and you've had your images for a few months on your personal online gallery. Hopefully, you've identified your favorites and created your mobile app and are having a wonderful time sharing them with friends and family. By now, you have met with me, previewed the album choices, and shared the ones you like. You may have even talked with me about the covers and page styles that you think fit your personality.
The Album-Making Process goes like this:
1. You select the style/size of the album you want. This is typically included in your package but you could upgrade to a bigger album if you wish.
2. Pick the images that will grace the pages of your album. This is a team effort, but if it feels overwhelming, let's make it easy:
- I can select images for you. If you go this route, it is best to have your top ten must-have, ultimate favorites in a folder. You know what you LOVE, and one of those should be either a cover image or a double spread in the album.
- Of course, the bride and groom can select images. Don't worry about being too picky, as it's my job to group the images and design the page spread.
And then...
3. I will design the album based on your choices and send a proof of the album to you. Please note: All pimples and exit signs are automatically removed.
4. You have up to 3 weeks to approve the album design or request minor changes.
- Do you love all the images of you? I can do specific image touch-up or remove/replace an image.
- Is everyone who should be in the album actually in the album?
- Is it enough to tell the story of your day? (You can always add additional images in sets of 25)
5. Four to eight weeks later, your album will be delivered to your door. So have a bottle of champagne ready and get ready to enjoy!
