Hello Friends!
Throughout my life, there have been a handful of causes I fully believe in and passionately support. Check out the video I did a couple of years ago to promote clean water (see below). This year, I realize we need to take community action to a whole new level if we want to really start to radically effect change to protect the environment, assure food security, support youth dance, and nurture healthy children.
It's going to happen with us working together. I will donate my time and services and funds as I have always done, but this year, I want to raise even greater awareness of the issues and promote the organizations that work hard to make a difference.
The concept is pretty straightforward. Every three months, I focus a portion of my work, my website, my social media, and my energy to helping to raise money for a non-profit organization whose mission matches mine.
I will host a fundraiser customized to your organization, co-market our businesses, and provide you with a donation from the proceeds of our efforts. Some examples of fundraising events might include:
- Selling custom designed notecards with your organization's logo
- A Zumbathon for climate change
- A specially priced portrait package that matches your organization (such as a $700 underwater/fishing photo shoot or a Dancer Package with a custom framed print)
- A portion from any family shoot booked during our three-month time frame if they mention the promotion about your organization
- A Sharyn Peavey Photography Gift Card to use in your auctions or annual fundraiser events.
You fill out an application telling me a little about your non-profit, why we'd be a good match for a partnership, and an indication that you agree to the terms. If you're accepted, we'll have fun raising money for you by working together!
