Creative Studio Lighting Portraits
There is so much creativity to be had in studio lighting. This is one of the reasons why I do not limit myself to simply being a natural light photographer.
Images I am sharing here are from a recent photo class I taught with gelled lighting. This location was a wall by a large window. I overpowered the natural light with three primary colored gelled strobes. Portraits created here are of students from Maine Coast Waldorf High School.
We upped the energy in the photos by adding motion.
And for another layer I added a multiple exposure with gleed strobes. When producing these images exposures must be taken into account and as you build an image for the final overlay. Double exposures were created in camera and not in post production.
If you are interested in a creative shoot or want to learn more please be in touch. Thank you.
