In my years of experience in wedding photography I have seen couples exhibit a remarkable range of emotions leading up to their big day. Some are apprehensive, many are overwhelmed, and most are filled with both joy and exhaustion. The one emotion that tends to dominate this chaos of feelings is excitement, and I have never had a couple more enthusiastic for their wedding day than Chris and Marjorie Hale.

Chris and Marjorie’s connection began over late-night zoom calls during the pandemic, and blossomed further when Chris relocated from Atlanta to DC, where Marjorie was living with her three wonderful kids. After much scheming with the kids, Chris proposed to Marjorie and on October 2nd, 2021 they were married at Cunningham Farms (I’m late in posting this blog, and you may have seen Chris and Marjorie’s faces in my 2023 family session).
