Fall Family Session in the Fields of Pownal
I photograph often near my home in Maine and around Boston. It is fascinating how different the light is in a rural area like my home and in the city. It is also fascinating the difference in fall colors with the difference in latitude. Just a little more further north and we are weeks ahead of Boston in leaf color. Here is a shoot very near my home in Pownal. This is the Young Family, a family five! My families keep growing! The Youngs are new to Maine this year, moving here from Utah. I thought this is a perfect spot for Utah people, to have wide open out door spaces. Larene told me her family loves to be outdoors and she had a large picture frame hanging in their living room awaiting a new family photo! Perfect I said. I hope she has lots of free wall space in her new home in Maine because I think we got a lot of beautiful images of her family. You can see how at ease they are with being outdoors when they changed out of their family photo outfits to "other" and played together. I love to see that. We all had a terrific time and best of all images on their faces are genuinely happy. I would want it no other way! Here are some of my favorites.
P.S. The horse photo is at my neighbors farm because Cassie loves horses, and used to ride in Utah, I asked if we could visit for a few special pictures.
