Front Porch Fundraiser for FCS
This is certainly a challenging time for each of us and our communities. I certainly feel the effects on my business, creatively and financially and I know there are many out there that are as well. I would like to use what I do, to help the community and I hope you would be a part of it.
Freeport Community Services (FCS) is here, as they have been for years, to help families in need with financial assistance and the food pantry. It is for times like this that I am proud to be a part of such a supportive community as Freeport.
I am offering my photography services using the Front Porch Project to fundraise for FCS to be able to give even more to our neighbors. For your sign-up and donation, I will come to your address and take a photo of your family on your porch or in the driveway. You will receive a, high-resolution file, and have a keepsake of this crazy time while supporting your community. You can have the photo taken with your dog, your cat, in front of your car, as long as we all remain outside and a safe distance between us!
Guidelines
- I will use lenses that allow for safe social distancing.
- I will contribute my services as long as I remain healthy. I will not place anyone in harm's way and expect that you would do the same.
- Pets are more than welcome to be part of the photo.
- All proceeds will be turned over to the Freeport Community Center.
How it Works
- Book the shoot and set a date
- Pay your donation amount, preferably with check or Venmo to avoid card fees
- 2 weeks later you will receive a 30 day online gallery to select your family image of choice
- Share any images from gallery to FB
- Select your image and if there are more images you want, you may purchase those at an additional cost
Recommended Donation Amount
The recommended donation amount is $150. A digital file sells for $125 and the cost of a shoot starts at $150. Donations have come in from $20 to $200, please donate what you can and be a part of the project! It is my goal to raise $1,000 and so far, I am more than halfway there!
Social Media
Social Media has been a major role in spreading awareness of the project. Please let me know if it is ok to include your image in a social media post about the #frontporchproject for FCS!
