Kids Spotlight Photo Sessions
Is there something, in particular, you just love about your kid? Do you have a child that loves to do something be it dance, play basketball, gymnastics or clown around? Wouldn't it be fun to have that part of your child captured in beautiful photographs? I think it would be and now I am offering kids spotlight mini sessions.
These photo sessions will be an informal shoot spotlighting your child in whatever it is they are into.
This isn't a family shoot, this about the kids being a kid!*
*(in full sessions we can take time to do this for your child too)
Often overlooked are a child's school years, past all the major early year milestones. Maybe because we are too busy as parents driving them around and our schedule is full. But I find what makes them get up off the couch and get excited at age 11 will be important to look back on when they are 21 and 31. And not only that kids love to see great photos of themselves doing cool stuff! They see it on social media every day they get their hands on an iPhone!
Here is a feature kid spotlight session on my daughter, who after years of asking to not be in pictures requested her own shoot....?!! We spent 27 minutes from the time she laced up her vans and we got back in the car. I know because she was done and wanted lunch. She knew the location she wanted and had some shots in mind. I gave some ideas too and she actually listened! (She recently started getting into gymnastics and dance and I think she wanted the shoot to show that.)
Because I feel so strongly about these shoots that are not a trend yet, I am offering a contest for a free kids spotlight session!
Read below for more details.
If you have a kid between ages of 5-17, that would like to get great shots of them contact me! The shoot can be custom to what they want, be it doing tricks on their skateboard, back flips off the back porch, riding their horse, dancing in the street or hanging out with their precious chickens they are raising... honestly whatever is their thing, get in touch with me! If either of you is on Instagram use the hashtag #sharynpeaveykidsportrait with a photo of your child!
I am not looking for kids that are exceptionally great or talented, just them being great at being themselves!
Note to parents:
It has to be for a kid that would think it would be fun to get photos taken of them doing their thing. Often kids want to you to get a great shot of them doing something, "watch mom! did you get a picture?" What a better way to celebrate your kid than with a professional photo shoot. Kids spotlight sessions come with a gallery, a mobile app, and files for them to have to use to make their own videos, use on social media and slideshow of what they do
This is a shoot for them and for you. :) I look forward to hearing from you!
