While previewing this shoot, I looked at the images knowing that Kara had never had a shoot like this, and never shared so much of herself to the camera before. It reminded me of how we can find ourselves in a shoot. We have the privilege of seeing characteristics of ourselves in a thoughtful way with the right shoot.
These are untouched up images of Kara that my daughter and I selected. Kara really looks like her mom.
I met Kara at the barn where my daughter rides. We did Kara's senior shoot at Thanksgiving Farm in Durham Maine with their Icelandic ponies. We had the help of Kara's mom Riitta, as it is difficult to do a shoot with ponies without help.
