Kelsey & Alex's Fall Wedding in Pittsfield MA
On Saturday, October 7th, Kelsey and Alex were married at St. Joseph's Church in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Their reception was held at the Country Club of Pittsfield. Kelsey and her bridesmaids got ready at the club and Alex and his groomsmen got ready at the Hilton Garden Inn of Pittsfield. Here are highlight photos and details from their memorable wedding day!
Alex has older siblings with kids and his nephews were a part of the festivities. Pictures of Alex and his guys getting ready at the Hilton Garden Inn were taken by my assistant, Alyssa.
Kelsey gave her bridesmaids a painting individually created for each of them. Painings were created by artist Stephanie Mobbs Deady. I love this idea and supporting local artists.
Kelsey and her bridesmaids' hair and make up were done by the skilled Skylar Render and associates of Four One Three Salon in Pittsfield.
Kelsey's wedding dress is by "Made with Love" which she found through Vows Bridal.
The rain stopped long enough for us to get a few pictures of Kelsey and her bridesmaids outside of the Country Club of Pittsfield. Meanwhile, my assistant Alyssa captured the groomsmen outside of St. Joseph's Church.
Kelsey walking to the church under her umbrella with an enthusiastic smile is one of my favorite wedding shots of 2023. The weather did not spoil her wedding day joy!
After the ceremony we took pictures of the families and wedding party on the porch at the Club.
I love the shade of green Kelsey chose for her bridesmaids. It complements the fall background beautifully. Flowers are by Carolyn Valenti Flowers of Pittsfield MA.
Last, but not least, are portraits of Kelsey and Alex. I appreciate the smile Alex has for his beautiful bride.
Kelsey and Alex kicked off their reception with their first dance. Alex is a master of dipping! He dipped Kelsey at least three times throughout the dance. That was perfect for me, I loved it! I hope Kelsey did too.
Quality speeches by Kelsey's Dad, her maid of honor and Alex's older brother, Patrick.
The band, The Standard from Wilson Stevens Entertainment out of Boston, did not disappoint. The dance floor stayed busy and everyone raved about them. I had a little helper, Jack. Jack is Alex's nephew and I had asked him to hold a flash during the family pictures earlier in the night. After that he was hooked. I let curious Jack use my fuji XT5 during the reception and he got some good shots! He definitely enjoyed himself. When I sent a copy of Jack's photo featured below, she said, "That's quite a look!"
Thanks for your help Jack buddy. I hope you got a camera for Christmas.
Congratulations to Kelsey and Alex! I wish them all the happiness that a great marriage can provide. It was a pleasure to work with them from start to finish! I intend to post their 2022 engagement shoot on my blog soon, please check back for that.
